Newcastle Annual Celebration Day 5/17/15

Mark your calendars for the 151 Year History Celebration of the town of Newcastle!! The Boy Scouts of America will begin the festivities by leading a Flag Raising Ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem. This will be followed by a variety of entertainment including local bands, singers, cloggers and more. The local 4H Clubs will be parading animals and local food vendors will have a variety of delicious foods to choose from. Walking tours of the downtown area are scheduled throughout the event. Vintage vehicles will be on display and the Native Sons of the Golden West will have a stagecoach and wagons from the 1800s, all part of the Fruit Shed history of Newcastle. This is a perfect event for families and everyone is invited!!
