Roll Up Signs And Their Terminology

Roll Up Signs And Their Terminology

Posted by Miles Horn on 7th Oct 2022

There are a lot of different names for items in this industry. For example. The brace that fits on the sign and attaches the sign to the stand itself is often referred to as a "kite stick." The 48" signs you see featured on the roadside are referred to in the industry as a "Roll Up" sign. Roll Up signs come in an affordable daytime vinyl, or on a reflexite material for night work. The tripod sign stand you see here on the left is a short portable sign stand. The one featured on the right side of image is the industry standard sign stand.  It comes available with steel legs for high wind and freeway work, or aluminum legs for portability and fast set up.  Sierra Safety Company has created a new category on our website that just says "ROLL UP SIGN/ STAND/ BRACE" and this is where customers will go from now on for all sign stand needs. It makes it easy to find for everyone. Click the link to check it out. https://www.sierrasafetyco.com/roll-up-sign-stand-brace/
